Stress Management
1. Make it a ritual to get plenty of rest and sleep, seven to eight hours is imperative for great health. Just try and come testify with me. Value your sleep and not social media! Set boundaries with your gadgets. Be in control.
2. Stress reduction techniques are a must, such as meditation, deep breathing exercises, and time away from your gadgets. These fancy objects take up too much time and mental space alike.
3. Have one or two friends you can connect with for emotional support, or better yet, your spouse. This can really strengthen your bond.
4. Take on a new hobby, why not? You know what mine isโฆ drum rollโฆ gardening! This is my absolute favorite. Gardening helps connect with nature, thus decreasing the stress hormone cortisol while releasing endorphins that boost serotonin, which is much needed for stress and depression balance. I can hardly wait for spring! You can find a hobby within your reach.
